- Played a prominent role in the EU sector inquiries in gas and electricity, contributed to drafting of the final report with particular focus on unbundling.
- Coordinated unit activities on water, petrol, exemptions from third party access to gas infrastructure, and exemptions from public procurement rules.

- Monitored effective market opening and sector-specific regulation, handled infringement cases against EU Member states.
