Hunton & Williams LLP advised the underwriters in the sale of $500,000,000 Florida Power & Light Company’s 4.05% Series due October 1, 2044.
Florida Power & Light Company is the third-largest electric utility in the United States, serving approximately 4.7 million customer accounts across nearly half of the state of Florida. It is a leading Florida employer with approximately 8,900 employees. FPL is a subsidiary of Juno Beach, Florida-based NextEra Energy, Inc.
