WNF Wine Tasting
On November 13, 2008, the Charlotte Chapter hosted an elegant wine tasting at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar for its senior-level members. The event, which provided attendees with an opportunity for networking, showcased a selection of red and white wines and hors d'oeuvres that were specially paired with the featured wines.

National Domestic Violence Month
On Wednesday, November 7, 2007, the Charlotte Chapter supported National Domestic Violence Month by partnering with the Battered Women's Shelter to host a wine tasting event at the Capital Grille for the firm's senior-level clients. This event, which featured wines from women-owned wineries, collected both cash donations and "wish list items" for the Shelter.

Leading from the Front
On March 28, 2007, the Charlotte chapter of the Women's Networking Forum hosted a leadership seminar at The Charlotte City Club. The seminar, which focused on maximizing potential and improving performance through leadership, featured Angie Morgan and Courtney Lynch as the keynote speakers. These two former captains in the Marines also co-authored the book “Leading from the Front, No Excuse Leadership Tactics for Women.” The seminar welcomed nearly 80 clients from the Charlotte business community to participate in the seminar and network with other members.

PINK Magazine Conference
On November 1, 2006, The Charlotte Chapter sponsored the PINK Magazine Conference at the Omni Charlotte Hotel. The conference, which focused on "life/balance solutions, career success strategies and valuable business lessons," featured a panel of four dynamic and successful women in business and welcomed nearly 400 attendees.

Luncheon Seminar
On February 22, 2006, the Charlotte Chapter hosted the third luncheon in its three-part series entitled Leadership, Career Management and Balancing Personal and Professional Roles at the Charlotte City Club. More than 100 guests enjoyed a delicious lunch, the opportunity to network with other professional women, and the interesting and timely remarks of Genevieve Bos, president and publisher of PINK magazine.

Luncheon Seminar
On August 10, 2005, the Charlotte Chapter hosted the second luncheon in its three-part series entitled Leadership, Career Management and Balancing Personal and Professional Roles. Guest Speaker Andrea B. Field, managing partner of Hunton & Williams' Washington DC office, both entertained and educated guests as she shared her personal experiences balancing a busy law career with family responsibilities. More than 75 women attended the luncheon held at the Charlotte City Club.

Luncheon Seminar
On April 27, 2005, the Charlotte Chapter held the first in a series of luncheon seminars designed to explore topics of interest to women. More than 85 WNF members and guests enjoyed a delicious lunch, stimulating conversation, and excellent advice and counsel from the event's keynote speaker — Martha B. Wyrsch, president and CEO of Duke Energy Gas Transmission. Martha's remarks on leadership, career management and balancing personal and professional roles were timely and extremely well-received. Inaugural Event
The Charlotte office kicked off its new Women's Networking Forum chapter with an elegant cocktail reception at The Westin Hotel on October 19, 2004. Connie Glaser, distinguished speaker and nationally recognized expert on women in business, spoke during the event on how women are redefining the traditional definition of success in the workplace. In addition, attendees received a signed copy of her latest book, When Money Isn't Enough: How Women Are Finding the Soul of Success.
