Hunton & Williams LLP Receives Top Rating in 2014 Corporate Equality Index

NEW YORK, NY — December 13, 2013 — Hunton & Williams LLP received a perfect score in the recently released Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s annual "Corporate Equality Index." The Foundation, which is the educational arm of American's largest civil rights organization working for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality, rated 934 businesses in its 2014 report on policies and practices related to LGBT employees.

Factors contributing to Hunton & Williams’ top rating are its inclusive nondiscrimination policies, firmwide diversity training, domestic partner benefits, LGBT affinity group, and contributions to related community organizations. This is the third year in a row that the firm has received a 100 percent ranking and been rated as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.
