Wide-ranging trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts in more than 15 states and in the Second, Fourth, Eighth, and Eleventh Circuits. Practice has ranged from complex commercial and intellectual property disputes to major personal injury, product liability, and toxic tort cases to nuclear regulatory and environmental litigation.

- Recently represented substantial public company in RICO action against a labor union, union executives, and affiliated labor organizations.
- Recently defended major energy company in complex commercial dispute involving allegations of fraud, conspiracy, and breach of contract.
- Recently served as lead counsel for a business intelligence software company in a five-week trial involving alleged misappropriation of highly complex trade secrets and know how.
- Recently retained post-trial to be lead counsel in three cases appealed to Supreme Court of Virginia.
- Recently served as lead counsel for public company in fraud and breach of contract suit tried to a federal court jury in Knoxville.
- Represented a leading U.S. pharmaceutical company in major unfair competition and Lanham Act suit against foreign competitor and defending against antitrust counterclaim by domestic competitor.
- Extensive experience in variety of personal injury and product liability litigation.
- Represented lead defendants in Missouri dioxin litigation, Hipps Road groundwater contamination litigation in Jacksonville, and Combustion litigation in Louisiana.
- Represented one of country's largest telecommunications carriers in state administrative and federal court actions in multiple states arising under the Telecommunications Act of 1996.
- Served as principal outside legal advisor to two start-up companies.
