Relevant Experience
- Admiralty and maritime law experience includes litigation and advice work involving in rem claims, collisions and allisions, breach of charter party claims, maritime pollution and environmental law, lost and damaged cargo, maritime wrongful-death and personal injuries, and maritime products liability claims.
- Negotiated and drafted multi-year service contracts between Fortune 100 shippers and ocean carriers for the international carriage of containerized cargo.
- Negotiated and drafted international logistics agreements, contracts of affreightment, marine terminal agreements, vessel charter parties, towage agreements, vessel purchase agreements, and other maritime contracts.
- Represented federal government contractors in bid protest proceedings before the U.S. Government Accountability Office and Executive agencies. Won bid protest involving $60 million multi-year, multi-ship contract to repair a class of Navy ships in Jacksonville, Florida.
- Represented federal government contractors in claims proceedings before Executive agencies, the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
- Represented owners and contractors in construction law disputes involving projects such as sports stadiums, hotels, medical facilities, and airfields.
