Mr. McIndoe is co-head of the Derivatives Team and the Commodities Trading Group. He also is a member of the Asset Securitization Team.Mr. McIndoe’s practice focuses primarily on derivatives and commodities transactions. He also specializes in capital markets transactions with derivatives components and compliance issues under the Commodities Exchange Act. He advises clients on a wide range of transactions, including forward contracts, swaps, options, hybrids and structured securities. His practice also involves disputes and litigation regarding derivative transactions.
Mr. McIndoe also advises clients on repurchase agreements and securities lending arrangements. In addition, he has closed numerous structured finance, securities and general business transactions.
Mr. McIndoe's clients include energy firms, investment banks, commercial end users, pension funds, life insurance companies, asset managers and pooled investment funds.

- Represented dealers, end-users and SPVs in various hedging and credit enhancement transactions, including credit, commodity, equity, foreign exchange and interest rate trades.
- Structured and documented several structured investment products, including index linked notes, credit linked notes and bespoke CDOs.
- Closed novel credit-sleeve transactions for energy commodities.
- Negotiated several multiple party netting agreements.
- Negotiated several repurchase agreements and securities lending arrangements including unique collateral arrangements.
- Counseled multiple clients on Commodities Exchange Act issues, including registration requirements and related exemptions for commodity pool operators and commodity trading advisors.
- Negotiated and resolved multiple close-out disputes, including trades with insolvent counterparties.
- Advised several clients regarding legacy derivative portfolios.
- Counseled clients regarding legislative and regulatory developments involving derivatives.
- Represented issuers, collateral managers, underwriters, trustees, investors and insurers in the issuance of collateralized debt obligations and securitizations. Deal counsel for cash, synthetic and hybrid structures.
- Represented several organizations in successfully obtaining recognition as tax-exempt under Rule 501(c)(3).
