Co-Head of the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice. Practice focuses on commercial litigation, including contract disputes, class actions, business torts, securities litigation, health care fraud & abuse, intellectual property, antitrust and product liability. Mr. Steinberg is a former U.S. Senate Chief Counsel and federal prosecutor with substantial trial experience in a variety of matters. Mr. Steinberg is the Miami Office Managing Partner and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

- Defended multinational corporation in a series of grand jury matters related to the oil and gas industry.
- Defended major pharmaceutical company in class actions alleging that company's marketing of Prozac Weekly invaded patient privacy and constituted deceptive and unfair trade practices. The action challenges numerous aspects of the FDA approval process and the marketing of pharmaceutical products to physicians under state and federal law. The lawsuit has received widespread publicity in local and national press, including on ABC, CBS, CNN and Sixty Minutes II. Hunton & Williams is also defending company in employment termination and defamation actions that related to the marketing of its pharmaceutical products.
