Practice focuses on advice and representation of management in full spectrum of labor and employment law matters, including trade secret and non-compete litigation, EEO litigation, collective bargaining, union avoidance, and preventive employee and labor relations consulting.
Relevant Experience
- Litigates trade secret and non-disclosure matters arising from employment and fiduciary relationships, including protection of intellectual property and other proprietary information.
- Litigates disputes involving non-competition and non-solicitation agreements in a wide variety of industries and business fields, successfully obtaining injunctive relief on behalf of clients.
- Litigates in state and federal courts defending employers against employment claims, such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful discharge under state and federal EEO laws.
- Negotiates and prepares employment agreements with covenants designed to protect employers' trade secret and intellectual property interests.
- Substantial experience in traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining, negotiation and strategy, union avoidance and matters before the National Labor Relations Board.
- Counsels clients regularly in litigation avoidance and compliance with federal and state laws related to employment.
