Robert J. Grey, Jr. Practice focuses on administrative matters before state and federal agencies. Based on this and other experience, he continues his practice in mediation and other forms of dispute resolution on a state and national level. He represents corporate and industry interests in the legislative arena. Mr. Grey also counsels businesses with concerns before elected and appointed government officials on a state and national basis. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Hunton & Williams Community Service Committee. Relevant Experience Lobbying on behalf of the alcohol beverage industry, serving as chairman of the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, 1982-1985; also representation on behalf of other industries’ legislative interests, ranging from: automotive to healthcare (including medical professionals) to hospitality (restaurants, bars and hotels) to funeral directors. Regulatory and administrative litigation representing franchisors and franchisees in the following industries: food and alcohol beverage; professional services (including doctors, lawyers, dentists, pharmacists); and funeral directors. Represented commercial interests in mediations related to disputes involving labor and employment, discrimination, contracts, and construction.
