  • Argued before the Supreme Court of Virginia in a case arising under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction
  • Member of legal team obtaining arbitration award of $3.98 million and $520,000 in attorneys' fees against former professional quarterback Michael Vick
  • Member of legal team that successfully challenged portions of Loudoun County, Virginia's 2003 downzoning amendments
  • Obtained planning and zoning approvals for the construction of a transmission pipeline in Fairfax County, Virginia, to provide a dedicated aviation fuel delivery system to Dulles International Airport
  • Obtained planning and zoning approvals for the construction of an electrical utility substation in Loudoun County, Virginia
  • Obtained amendments to zoning approvals for solid waste transfer station in Prince William County, Virginia
  • Represented landowners before local governing bodies to secure discretionary land use approvals
  • Represented landowners in eminent domain and inverse condemnation proceedings involving multi-million dollar property value
  • Represented reinsured parties in commutation, arbitration and mediation of reinsurance contract disputes involving multi-million dollar claims
  • Favorably resolved, through mediation, a dispute arising out of large national employer's arbitration claim against third-party administrator of its group health insurance coverage
  • Favorably settled lawsuit and successfully defended related appeal in federal courts arising out of lease of professional sports franchise
  • Represented national private security contractor in successful challenge to award of multi-million dollar public contract for the provision of security services at interstate highway rest areas in Florida
  • Represented individuals and corporations in appeals in state and federal courts
