Bridget leads the UK Privacy and Information Management practice at Hunton & Williams. Her extensive experience of privacy law spans more than 10 years. Her practice focuses on privacy, data protection, information governance and e-commerce issues for multinational companies across a broad range of industry sectors. Bridget is widely respected for offering pragmatic advice to clients. She was ranked by Computerworld magazine as one of the top ten privacy lawyers globally (2008) and is ranked in "Band 1" by Chambers and Partners (2009).
Bridget's background in complex technology transactions (including wide-ranging experience of advising on sourcing agreements, strategic alliances and other collaborative arrangements with a technology focus) enable her to advise on the specific data protection and information governance issues that occur in outsourcing transactions. Bridget is the co-author of Intellect’s Data Security and Data Protection Guidelines for Offshoring and Outsourcing (2010).
Bridget is a frequent speaker on privacy-related issues, is editor of the specialist privacy journal "Privacy and Data Protection", and has contributed to a number of published texts including Data Protection for Financial Firms: A Practical Guide to Managing Privacy and Information Risk (2010).

- Advised an investment bank on the outsource of aspects of its back office functions to India;
- Advised an investment bank on pan-European arrangements for the outsourcing of its facilities management requirements;

- Advised several insurers and reinsurers on the implications of the EU data protection regime on the underwriting and claims handling process;
- Advised a media business on the provision of video-on-demand services, including content-licensing issues.
