Asset Securitization
|
Practice includes the representation of banks and other financial institutions, issuers, underwriters, servicers and asset-backed commercial paper conduits in a full range of finance and securitization matters including, sale/purchase, warehouse, repurchase and reverse repurchase agreements, advance facilities and securitization and other corporate finance matters. Practice also focuses on the representation of companies in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising transactions and general corporate matters.
Relevant Experience 
- Represents borrowers and lenders with respect to the financing of residential mortgage loans, servicing rights (msrs), servicing advances and mortgage-backed securities.
- Represents sellers and buyers of prime, alt-a, subprime and scratch and dent mortgage loans and servicing rights.
- Represents ABS issuers in connection with public and private residential mortgage-backed securitizations, including net interest margin (NIM) transactions.
- Represents asset-backed commercial paper conduits in trade receivables financings.
- Represents privately-held and public companies in a variety of corporate transactions from organization through exit strategies.
- Represents lenders in connection with work-outs and special situations.
- Frequent speaker on topics related to the credit crisis and the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008.
- Serves on Advisory Committee and as outside general counsel on a pro bono basis for the New York Special Olympics.
- Serves on Board of The American Red Cross of Montclair-Glen Ridge-Nutley.
- Prior to attending law school worked for four years at The Prudential Home Mortgage Company, Inc.
