"Outsourcing moves to the core," InfoWorld, March 4, 2008. A new form of outsourcing called KPO, also known as knowledge process outsourcing, is racing across the enterprise landscape in U.S. and Europe. Speaking on outsourcing that is moving to the core to InfoWorld, Peter Brudenall was quoted saying:"Don't be mistaken, cost savings remain the key driver of outsourcing." The article stated that:"However, Brudenall backed up a report published only last month by KPMG's global sourcing division titled "KPO: unlocking top-line growth by outsourcing 'the core,' " pointing to KPO as the next generation of outsourcing, focusing on knowledge-based skills." Brudenall is a partner in the London office of Hunton & Williams LLP. His practice focuses on corporate and regulatory representation of small to mid-size financial institutions.
