Brian's practice focuses on representing public and private companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and corporate and securities laws. He also has significant experience representing syndicators and investors in low-income housing tax credit transactions, including multi-investor and proprietary funds. Brian regularly advises companies regarding compliance with the conflict minerals rules promulgated by the SEC pursuant to Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act.
Brian is a member of the Richmond office's Staff Spotlight Award Committee. He is also an active volunteer with Central Virginia Legal Aid's Pro Bono Hotline program.
Brian is a frequent guest lecturer on mergers and acquisitions at the Washington and Lee University School of Law.
