MIAMI — June 28, 2012 — Jennifer D. Ellis, an associate at the Miami office of Hunton & Williams LLP, was named by Brickell Magazine as one of its 2012 "Top 20 Professionals Under Forty" from among an array of young professionals who excel in their industries. Ellis was recognized for the successful balance of her legal career with her personal life, while at the same time giving back to the community through her pro bono work.

Ellis' practice includes litigation and trial of employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims. She serves on the board of KidSide, Inc., a 501(c)(3) dedicated to the purpose of obtaining funding for Family Court Services. A member of the Florida Bar, she is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. Jennifer presently serves as Immediate Past President of the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association (formerly the Black Lawyers Association), for which she previously served as Secretary, Vice President, President-Elect, and President.
