Whittington Clement of Hunton & Williams LLP Chosen as President-elect of the Directors of The Virginia Law Foundation

Whittington W. Clement, a partner in the firm's Richmond office, was elected President-elect of The Virginia Law Foundation in July 2008. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2006.

The Virginia Law Foundation, established in 1974, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and the leading philanthropic arm of the legal profession in Virginia. Both the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Bar Association nominate members of the Board. The Virginia Law Foundation provides financial support to projects that promote the rule of law, improved access to justice and law-related education throughout Virginia.

Clement's practice focuses on transportation infrastructure, government affairs and lobbying.
