Laura represents management in complex federal and state employment litigation and counseling.

Laura's practice focuses on the representation of leading employers and Fortune 500 companies in complex federal and state litigation, including employment and civil rights litigation, contract negotiation and administration. Her more than 30 years of trial experience encompass significant class action litigation, including employment, consumer and deceptive trade practices claims. She counsels and represents management in connection with strategic employment decisions, restructuring, labor union relations, employment investigations, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) issues, and employment issues related to mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.

Laura is co-chair of the firm's employment litigation and labor management relations practice and has represented employers in a broad range of industries, including entertainment, hospitality, retail and high technology. Laura has been named to numerous best-lawyer lists and is described by clients in Chambers USA as a "[s]uperwoman" with "a good manner, proven trial skills, broad-ranging knowledge and intellectual depth." She has been Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1984 and is admitted to practice before the US Supreme Court; the US Courts of Appeals for the Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Circuits; and numerous district courts.
