Des Moines Register
January 3, 2009

A national lack of interpreters disproportionately affects rural areas with large numbers of immigrants who came to do construction work, farm work or factory work. Instead,  they ended up in communities where their language population does not exist in great number, as Hunton & Williams immigration lawyer Suzan Kern noted. Kern, a former court interpreter, focuses her practice exclusively on immigration and nationality law.
