Established in 1980, the Raleigh office is part of our expansive North Carolina practice and is comprised of almost 20 lawyers with experience in a wide range of legal matters. We routinely advise clients on intellectual property, real estate capital markets (REITs), public finance, municipal law, banking and finance, business and commercial litigation, energy and public utilities, and environmental matters. In addition, we have significant experience in estate planning and administration matters, tax and tax-exempt matters, antitrust and trade regulation, and administrative matters before federal and state agencies.
Our Raleigh office has a vibrant pro bono services commitment and regularly exceeds Pro Bono Challenge standards for demonstrating a commitment to the community. We have a number of programs that encourage lawyer pro bono participation, including the North Carolina Guardian Ad Litem program through which our lawyers have defended cases for more than 10 years. Additionally, the North Carolina offices of the firm have been consistently recognized for their pro bono commitment and have been awarded the North Carolina Bar Association Large Law Firm Pro Bono Award a number of times.
