Bill is co-head of the Hunton & Williams' real estate team and co-chair of the firmwide Recruiting Committee. His practice focuses on strategic real estate planning, urban investment and redevelopment, private-public ventures and commercial leasing.

Relevant Experience

  • Represented real estate investors in creating and implementing strategic plans for the development or disposition of their real estate assets. 
  • Represented urban public universities and their lenders in creating private-public structures to finance, construct and operate student housing projects.
  • Represented a financial institution in a private-public venture in which a city invested cash to construct an office building complex to attract thousands of jobs and revitalize a declining neighborhood. 
  • Represented a public university in the development in conjunction with a city of a biotechnology research park that currently contains nine buildings and over 2,000 employees. 
  • Represented a variety of landlords and tenants on commercial leasing matters.
