NEW YORK — November 7, 2011 — Hunton & Williams LLP announces the appointment of Wim Nauwelaerts as Brussels office managing partner. Nauwelaerts, who joined Hunton & Williams in August 2010, will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination with firm leaders to oversee strategic planning and client service initiatives for the Brussels office.

He has written and spoken widely on such privacy-related topics as cloud computing, interest-based advertising, cross-border discovery, and privacy compliance in pharmaceutical research.
