Eric Murdock discusses the use of drones to support surface mining operations and the Federal Aviation Administration exemptions obtained by mining companies Murdock tells SNL Energy, “This is one of many measures that mining companies may be able to take to reduce costs and thus enhance the financial viability of their operations.” Murdock is the co-chair of the firm’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration Unit and his practice focuses on environmental litigation, administrative process and compliance counseling.
