Hunton Andrews Kurth Advises on CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC’s $800 Million General Mortgage Bonds Offering

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised the underwriters on an SEC-registered offering by CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC (CEHE) of $500 million aggregate principal amount of its 4.45% General Mortgage Bonds, Series AI, due 2032 and $300 million in aggregate principal amount of its 4.85% General Mortgage Bonds, Series AJ, due 2052.

CEHE, an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of CenterPoint Energy, Inc., provides electric transmission and distribution services to retail electric providers serving approximately 2.7 million metered customers in the Texas Gulf Coast area that includes the City of Houston.
