NEW YORK — June 10, 2012 — Hunton & Williams LLP continues to expand its national practice with the arrival of four real estate finance partners from SNR Denton. The addition of Brett L. Gross, Peter J. Mignone, Donald F. Simone and Mitchell G. Williams brings the firm's real estate practice group to more than 50 lawyers. Before joining SNR Denton, the partners led the real estate finance practice at Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP.

"Hunton & Williams has taken another important step toward becoming the 'go-to' real estate practice in New York with this addition," said Carl F. Schwartz, chair of the New York real estate group, who joined the firm in April along with partner Laurie A. Grasso. "Our new partners' tremendous lending experience is the perfect complement to our practice in serving owners, operators, funds, REITs and capital market players across the real estate spectrum."

Peter J. Mignone added, "We’re excited at the opportunity to introduce our clients to Hunton & Williams' full-service real estate and capital markets practice."

Hunton & Williams' real estate practice group comprises more than 50 lawyers, who advise clients on matters involving the full spectrum of commercial, industrial, retail, multifamily, hospitality and mixed-use properties. The practice focus includes nonperforming loans, health care, energy, retail and general real estate finance for all real estate asset types.
