Speaking on the significance of the US Supreme Court’s decision in the case over President Obama’s executive actions on immigration, US v. Texas, Ian Band said: On the one hand, the decision is more a commentary on whether the administration followed the Administrative Procedures Act than it is about the deferred action program itself. The bigger question is how this will affect the next president's ability to enforce various immigration policies. Regardless of the decision, this issue will remain in the forefront for some time to come.
