Labor partner Kurt Larkin testified on the Effects of New Joint Employer Standards for Small Firms before the US House of Representatives Committee on Small Business Subcommittee on Investigations, Oversight and Regulations. He argued that “Congress must intervene and return the Board’s joint-employer standard to the well-understood rule that existed for decades before the issuance of BFI. The continued vitality of many longstanding business relationship models, as well as the ability of small business owners to continue to thrive in this country, may well depend on it.”
