Hunton & Williams Partner Amber Rogers was named among the National Diversity Council’s Top 50 Multicultural Lawyers in Dallas, a definitive list of executives, influencers and achievers impacting the legal profession. Selection criteria included demonstrated leadership; commitment to fairness, equity and justice in client representation and professional collaborations; peer recognition for professional expertise; and strong commitment to community.

“Amber is a tremendous asset to the Hunton & Williams legal team,” stated Pat Mitchell, managing partner of the firm’s Dallas Office. “The quality of Amber’s work and her strong commitment to both client and community service is exemplary. Amber is highly deserving of this recognition, and all of us at the firm join in congratulating her on this honor.”

A trial lawyer on the firm’s Labor and Employment team, Amber has extensive experience representing and advising clients in traditional labor relations. In partnership with her clients, she also helps avoid litigation by conducting and coordinating sensitive corporate investigations and providing training presentations on topics such as pay equity, anti-harassment and anti-discrimination, diversity and inclusion, labor relations, and issues related to the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans With Disabilities Act.

In addition to her legal practice, Amber is co-chair of the firm’s Oneness Diversity Luncheon Program, associate editor of the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law newsletter, and contributing author to the Hunton Employment & Labor Law Perspectives blog. She also gives back to low-income members of the Dallas community in need of legal advice as a dedicated volunteer with the Dallas Bar Association’s LegalLine Program and the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program.

“The 2017 Top 50 Multicultural Lawyers award list highlights some of the most extraordinary legal professionals in the Dallas Area,” said Dennis Kennedy, founder and chair of the National Diversity Council. “We are honored to recognize such a distinguished group of leaders dedicated to continuous success in their workplaces and communities.”
