Community banks advised to buy weak rivals

Jacksonville Business Journal

Jacksonville Business Journal reported on Peter Weinstock and Charles "Stormy" Greef's recent speech at the Independent Community Bankers of America’s National Convention and Techworld in Orlando. Weinstock and Greef, partners with the firm's financial institutions corporate and regulatory team, encouraged community bankers to acquire failed or troubled banks while pricing is low.

Weinstock's practice focuses on corporate and regulatory representation of small to some of the larger regional and national financial institution franchises. Greef's practice focuses on representation of independent community banks and their owners and holding companies.
