Years of Experience: The Washington, DC office of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP seeks an experienced patent litigator to join its Intellectual Property Practice Group. Applicants should have two to five years of experience litigating patents in the areas of electronics, e-commerce, telecommunications, and/or computer software and hardware. A undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and a patent registration number are preferred, but not required. Demonstrated writing and oral advocacy skills are a must, including experience writing briefs, taking and defending depositions, working with experts, dealing with opposing counsel, and managing patent-related discovery issues. The ideal candidate will be hard-working with a strong academic background, outstanding analytical ability, excellent writing skills and be both detail-oriented and able to demonstrate leadership and initiative.
