Nathan’s practice focuses on corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and other insolvency-related matters. He represents corporate debtors, creditors’ committees, secured lenders, and unsecured creditors in chapter 11 proceedings and complex bankruptcy litigation. 

Nathan also regularly counsels clients on a broad range of in-court and out-of-court bankruptcy and insolvency related issues. He has represented clients in many industries, including energy, financial services, retail and manufacturing. 

Nathan maintains an active pro bono practice, regularly representing individuals that are members of underserved communities, as well as local small businesses, in a variety of matters. 

Prior to joining Hunton & Williams LLP, Nathan served as law clerk to the Honorable Kevin R. Huennekens, US Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He is admitted to practice before the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and US Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
