Heidi’s practice focuses on civic engagement, government relations and external affairs.

Heidi represents business and industry before the Virginia General Assembly on a variety of legislative matters, including the passage of legislation regarding insurance, privacy, technology, health care, taxation, environmental, agriculture and forestry issues. This includes drafting legislation, testifying before legislative committees and subcommittees, lobbying state representatives, monitoring legislation, implementation of legislative strategies, administration of clients' political action committees and campaign contributions, providing advice/strategy for public officials/political candidates.

Relevant Experience

  • Represents clients around the country on state government affairs compliance matters including ethics, lobbying and campaign finance laws
  • Represents clients in building and executing community development and civic engagement programs such as the Violence Free Zone Initiative which she was instrumental in establishing at George Wythe High School through her membership on the Board of the Richmond Police Foundation.
