Representing Chimera in its Acquisition of Palisades Group

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is representing Chimera Investment Corporation in connection with its acquisition of Palisades Group, a US-based alternative asset manager. Chimera will acquire Palisades for cash consideration of $30 million, plus an additional potential earnout of up to $20 million over five years. The acquisition is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2024.
