National Veterans Legal Services Program Training

Please join us for a virtual pro bono training webinar presented by the National Veterans Legal Services Program (“NVLSP”). This one-hour informational session will provide an introductory overview of the Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance Traumatic Injury (“TSGLI”) Protection Program.

TSGLI is a financial benefit for servicemembers who experience traumatic injuries while serving in the military. It provides short-term financial assistance in the form of a one-time, lump sum payment ranging from $25,000 to $100,000. NVLSP has recently started providing pro bono TSGLI assistance to qualifying veterans and service members, and this training session will be helpful for anyone interested in taking one of these matters when they are offered to us.

We are offering this training in partnership with Capital One. Our goal is to begin staffing TSGLI matters as collaborative efforts with Hunton Andrews Kurth and Capital One lawyers working together on cases.
