Hunton & Williams LLP's Beijing office was established in 2005. The office builds on the firm’s work within its China practice, which, headquartered in Beijing, has been part of the firm's integrated global and Asia-Pacific practice since 1995. The Beijing office serves a wide range of clients that include Fortune 500 corporations; Asian corporations and government utilities; multinational agencies; and energy, water and natural resource corporate enterprises.

Our lawyers in Beijing have counseled clients on a wide range of legal matters including foreign direct investment, joint venture arrangements, acquisitions and divestitures, energy, project development and finance, data protection, international dispute resolution, international regulatory and compliance, licensing arrangements and other commercial transactions involving foreign shareholding and investment.

All of the lawyers in our Beijing office are bilingual, with most of them being native Chinese speakers fluent both in Mandarin and various other dialects. They have profound local knowledge and a deep understanding of Chinese laws and regulations. Our Beijing office routinely works closely with our other offices in the United States, Europe and Asia, to form seamless cross-disciplinary and cross-border teams of lawyers appropriate to the particular needs of each client.

    By Taxi:

    The preferred method is to take taxi from the airport to the Beijing office or the hotel. The trip from Beijing Airport to the main entrance of the Beijing Office building takes approximately 40-50 minutes during off-peak hours and costs around RMB 120 one way including airport expressway fee RMB 10.     Taxi basic fee is RMB 13 (from 0 km to 3 km), RMB 2.3 per km when above 3 km. During night time (23:00 o’clock to 5:00 o’clock in the morning), 20% Night time surcharge will apply.

    By Shuttle Bus:

    One may also takes Shuttle Bus. Bus is available every 30 minutes and costs approximately RMB 20.00 and takes 40-50 minutes.     By private car: Garage No. 3

    Parking Garage No. 3 is located in the south of T3. It has an Airport Express station on Floor 2, and at the same time provides access to the departure and arrival floors of Terminal 3. The first floor of the building houses shops, a police office and an administrative area. Passengers can now park their vehicles on Zone BCDE of Basement 1 or Zone H of Basement 2. B and C are timed parking zones while D, E and H are long-term parking zones. The parking building offers about 4,300 spaces for minibuses and cars, some of which are wheelchair accessible.
