Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised EBNB 70 Pine Owner LLC, a joint venture between DTH Capital and Rose Associates, in connection with a $395 million mortgage loan to refinance 70 Pine Street. The owners acquired the building in 2011 and successfully transformed the one million square foot landmarked building into a residential apartment building, with a hotel, sports club, retail component and Michelin star restaurants Crown Shy and Saga.

New York based real estate partners Matthew A. Scoville and Douglas Hoffmann led the legal team on the current financing. Matt and Doug, together with Laurie Grasso, co-chair of Hunton Andrews Kurth’s global real estate practice, have worked on this incredible project for over a decade, from the acquisition, followed by construction financing and capital structuring, and continuing through the closing of this significant financing in a challenging market.
