Angela Morrison, an experienced environmental and natural resources attorney who represents clients in the energy, manufacturing, developer, trade association and government sectors has joined Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP as a senior attorney in Miami.
Practicing in Florida for many years, Morrison has experience helping clients navigate evolving laws and regulations at the state and federal level relating to climate change, air quality, water quality and use, wetlands mitigation, endangered species, land use, and solid and hazardous waste management.
She is a recognized authority on the Clean Air Act, recently co-authoring Clean Air Act Essentials, Third Edition, published by the American Bar Association. With more than three decades of administrative law experience, Morrison continues to advise utilities and energy sector clients on major air-related rulemakings, compliance, and permitting issues, including Title V air operation permits, New Source Review permitting (PSD and Nonattainment NSR), state and federal emission standards (including NSPS and NESHAPs), and Florida’s State Implementation Plan.

Morrison joins the firm from Earth & Water Law PLLC and is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Federal and State Government and Administrative Practice. She received her undergraduate degree from Northeastern State University and her law degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. Morrison is also a tribal citizen of the Cherokee Nation, which is comprised of the descendants of Cherokees and Cherokee Freedmen.
