In February, NIST is expected to release the final version of a voluntary cybersecurity framework that should help banks, utilities and other key infrastructure operators better guard against security threats, which according to Lisa Sotto, will "set the tone for cybersecurity controls in the US for the near term." Sotto leads the firm’s global privacy and data security practice.
