Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to share that attorneys Erin Jennings, Kaylan Dunn and Bridget Vick received the Houston Bar Association (HBA) 2022 Presidential Award in honor of their “outstanding service” as leaders on various HBA programs. Each year, the HBA President highlights HBA committee and section leaders for their exceptional service and dedication to the Houston legal community and legal profession.

Jennings and Dunn serve as co-chairs of the HBA Habitat for Humanity Committee, which is committed to providing safe and affordable housing to the community. The committee finished building its twenty-third house and completed fundraising for a twenty-fourth this past fall. This latest HBA Habitat house is projected to be completed by summer 2022, and the committee already has fundraising underway for the next.

Vick serves as chair of the HBA Litigation Section. Since the start of the pandemic, the Litigation Section had halted in-person meetings and dedicated this past year to bringing back events and gatherings. The group relaunched networking happy hours and CLE lunches to reconnect and learn more on topics such as Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and key updates in employment law with guest speakers including Chief Judge Rosenthal and Judge Edison both of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Jennings, Dunn, Vick and their co-chairs were recognized at the HBA’s Annual Dinner Meeting on May 19, 2022.
