Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Lonnie D. “Chip” Nunley, III has been named a 2023 Pro Bono Service Champion by the Virginia State Bar. Nunley is one of eight Virginia attorneys recognized for reporting the highest number of pro bono service hours for the July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022 Bar year. Additionally, 37 firm attorneys have been recognized on the Pro Bono Honor Roll. Each year, the Virginia Access to Justice Commission celebrates Virginia attorneys reporting $1,000 or more in financial contributions and attorneys reporting 40 or more pro bono service hours for the period of July 1 – June 30.
