Neil’s practice focuses on banking and finance law with a concentration on the energy and infrastructure sector.

Neil is an associate in the energy and infrastructure team. He has experience of a wide range of financing transactions for both lenders and borrowers with particular emphasis on project and infrastructure finance, leveraged finance and asset finance.

Relevant Experience

  • Advising Hrvatska Elektroprivreda (HEP), the national electricity company of the Republic of Croatia, on an international tender for the design, engineering, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of a new €1.4 billion, 500 MW coal-fired power plant at Plomin in Istria, Croatia.
  • Advising a US bank on the UK aspects of a number of cross-border leveraged acquisitions.
  • Regularly advising an international financial institution in connection with the debt and lease financing of corporate aircraft and other high-value industrial equipment.
  • Advising a multilateral development bank on a number of Eastern European trade and project facilities.
  • Regularly advising a North African financial institution on trade facilities.
  • Advising the lenders in connection with the financing of a $150 million powership project in Ghana.
