Commenting on EPA’s recent decision not to further regulate stormwater runoff from commercial and industrial sites in Los Angeles, Sam Brown, a former regional counsel with EPA, suggests the decision to maintain the status quo will likely lead to litigation. Brown tells Bloomberg BNA that if a court overturns the EPA decision based on a challenge by environmental groups, it would set a precedent for watersheds across the nation.
