Hunton Associate Demitrianna Grekos Appointed Vice-Chair of the Securities and M&A Committee of the Miami-Dade Bar Association

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to announce that Miami associate Demitrianna (Demi) Grekos has been appointed Vice-Chair of the Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions Committee of the Miami-Dade Bar Association (MDB).

As one of the largest voluntary bar associations and lawyer networks in Florida, the MDB’s Securities and M&A Committee provides information and education on the latest regulations and best practices regarding transactions. This new leadership position recognizes Grekos for her professional excellence, legal knowledge, and commitment to bettering her community.

In her practice, Grekos regularly represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions, and general corporate matters. She regularly handles complex domestic and cross-border deals, working collaboratively with clients and counterparties to close transactions as efficiently as possible. With a Master of Science in Finance, Grekos is able to apply both financial and legal strategies to overcome client challenges. Additionally, she has provided hundreds of hours of pro bono service, including consistent work with the American Pediatric Surgical Nurses Association and the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project.
