Hunton & Williams LLP advised the underwriters on an SEC-registered offering by Ohio Power Company (“OPCo”) of $400 million aggregate principal amount of Senior Notes, Series N, due 2048.
OPCo is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc., a public utility holding company. OPCo is engaged in the transmission and distribution of electric power to approximately 477,000 retail customers in Ohio.
The Hunton & Williams team included Bud Ellis, Steven Friend and Paloma Luz. Cary Tolley and Anna Page provided tax advice.
