Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that associate Demitrianna “Demi” Grekos has been re-elected to the board of directors for the Miami-Dade Florida Association for Women Lawyers (MDFAWL). The organization is a voluntary bar association dedicated to promoting the advancement of women in the legal profession, expanding leadership opportunities available to its members, and advocating in support of women’s rights. Grekos also serves as co-chair for MDFAWL’s mentorship committee, and was recognized by the organization in 2024 as a Leader in the Law.
Grekos’ practice focuses on domestic and cross-border transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Her broad client base includes investment and asset management companies, REITs, international financial institutions, retail and consumer companies, and telecommunications companies. Additionally, she has provided hundreds of hours of pro bono service to multiple organizations, including the American Pediatric Surgical Nurses Association.
