Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised the purchasers in connection with Wisconsin Gas LLC’s (Wisconsin Gas) private placement offering of $150 million aggregate principal amount of 2.38% Debentures due November 1, 2024.
Wisconsin Gas is a public utility engaged in the distribution of natural gas throughout the state of Wisconsin and is regulated by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin. Wisconsin Gas serves approximately 637,000 natural gas customers. Wisconsin Gas is a wholly-owned subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, Inc., which is also the parent company of Wisconsin Electric Power Company (Wisconsin Electric), an electric, gas and steam utility serving customers in Wisconsin. Wisconsin Gas and Wisconsin Electric have combined many of their common functions and operate together under the trade name “We Energies.”
