Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP acted as counsel to KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc., as remarketing agent, for the remarketing of $65 million aggregate principal amount of West Virginia Economic Development Authority Solid Waste Disposal Facilities Revenue Refunding Bonds (Kentucky Power Company – Mitchell Project), Series 2014A.

Kentucky Power Company (“KPCo”) is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company Inc., a public utility holding company. KPCo is engaged in the generation, transmission and distribution of electric power to approximately 161,000 retail customers in eastern Kentucky, and in supplying and marketing electric power at wholesale to other electric utility companies, municipalities and other market participants.
