Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP’s Global Economic Development, Commerce & Government Relations team—the firm’s full-service public affairs consultancy—is proud to have worked with Goochland County, Virginia to secure more than $42 million in transportation funding to support the establishment of a new robotic fulfillment center in Central Virginia.

On Tuesday, May 14, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin joined Goochland County and project leaders to break ground on the 3.1 million square foot facility that will create more than 1,000 jobs.

To support the project, Hunton worked on behalf of Goochland County to engage Virginia transportation leaders and advocate for full funding of an upgraded highway interchange to secure the investment and attract additional business development to the area.
